Einschulung zum Homepage „füttern“

Gerade lernen wir synchron an zwei Computer wie wir neue Texte und Bilder auf unsere Homepage stellen.  Mein Bruder Martin ist da sehr geduldig mit uns.  Ich glaube, ich muß mir ein „Kochrezept“ schreiben, um nicht zu vergessen, wie´s geht. Peter hat das sicher schneller drauf. Ich werd´ mich jetzt wieder an die Nähmaschine setzen und an den Relingtaschen weiterarbeiten. Es sind jetzt doch noch eine ganze Menge  Arbeiten zu erledigen, die Zeit wird immer knapper. Unsere Familien melden jetzt auch verstärkt Ansprüche auf uns an, und wir haben das Bedürfnis noch viel Zeit mit ihnen zu verbringen.

Gestern besuchten wir das Blauwassertreffen in Neusiedl/See. Nach der Vorstellrunde, bei der jede Crew über ihre Segelerfahrungen oder die geplanten Projekte berichtete, folgten ungefähr 40 Leute gespannt den Ausführungen von Andreas Hanakamp über Weather Routing. Schon während des Vortrages ergaben sich einige Diskussionen.  Dr. Nina Gründler referierte über Medizin an Bord, Bordapotheke und hat anschließend auch in individuellen Gesprächsrunden ihr Wissen weitergegeben. Ingrid von der Idemo berichtete über Verproviantierung, Alltag an Bord und wie man ungebetene Gäste (Ungeziefer) wieder los wird.

Nach den Vorträgen sprachen wir mit anderen Crews, die heuer ähnliche Projekte starten oder bereits in der Karibik waren. Emailadressen, Amateurfunkrufzeichen und Telefonnummern wurden ausgetauscht, Mit Eva und Josef, die heuer zu einer Weltumsegelung aufbrechen, haben wir ein Treffen auf Sardinien oder den Balearen geplant. Zwei Stunden nach Mitternacht fielen wir totmüde in die Betten.

Erster Bericht

Noch dreieinhalb Wochen bis zur Abfahrt, endlich hat das Lernen ein Ende, die Amateurfunkprüfung ist geschafft. Sabina ist heute bei ihrer Hausärztin, um mit ihr die Bordapotheke zu besprechen. Die Reisepässe mit den amerikanischen Visa sind heute mit der Post gekommen, Sabinas Bruder hat uns ein Mail geschrieben, dass die Homepage bereits Online ist, danke Martin für deine prompte Unterstützung. Abends werden wir für unsere Abschiedsfeier im Lokal ums Eck Platz reservieren und unsere Terminkalender abstimmen.
